The Unofficial site for Valley fans Next Game: 29th November: Away
Vs Cirencester Town (Dr Martens Western Division) 27th November: Young side lose out An inexperienced and youthful looking Valley side lost out to a strong Bromsgrove side and put up a good fight despite the uphill challenge. MORE 22nd November: Deserved home victory Valley put the past two performances behind them to gain a respectable victory over The Moatmen at Butlin Road today. MORE 20th November: Valley play out bore draw Neither keeper was really challenged as Shepshed and Rugby played out
90 minutes of almost lifeless football. 15th November: Referee makes major impact A dubious looking referee, to say the least, commanded this game from start to finish and gave a harsh look to the scoreline for Rugby though Bromsgrove had the referee to give them justice on that account. MORE 11th November: Young side battles well in Cup tie A young side put out by Tony Dobson were showed the Dr Martens Cup
exit after the tie at Coles Lane provided a tough test for a rather different
looking side. 8th November: Mangos denied by stylish Valley finale The sending off of Gary Warren for two bookable offences lead to a Mangotsfield collapse in the latter stages of the game to give Rugby the full three points on their travels. MORE 8th November: Gresley made to look poor by Valley A solid and assured victory for the reserves against a side seemingly better on paper and who have been performing well this season. MORE 4th November: Valiant Valley tumble in Trophy Valley put up a tremendous fight on the night though the Premier Division opposition edged them out in a thrilling first half period. MORE 1st November: Knitters fight for return tie Valley failed to make the most of the chances handed on
a plate to them as Hinckley battled their way through the 90 minutes to
secure themselves a replay at Middlefield Lane on Tuesday night. MORE 28th October: Valley shrug off poor Robins in comfortable
fashion Valley
chalked up another confident display in front of their home faithful whilst
comfortably progressing through to the next round of the competition against
a lifeless Ilkeston side. MORE 25th October: Another home point for Valley Valley secured another home point against fellow high-flyers Clevedon Town, though the second half display should have enabled Valley to take maximum points. MORE 18th October: Valley secure second home victory An
improved display from previous home ties saw Valley clinch their second win
at home this season, the only other on the opening day against Gloucester
City. MORE
& PHOTOS 14th October: Last minute leveller denies Valley of much
needed Butlin Road win Valley were cruelly denied the full share of the points at Butlin Road
tonight as Swifts spoiled the home sides long-standing lead with a last
minute equalizer. MORE 4th October: Average display still ousts Greenbacks in
Trophy Valley progressed through to the First Round of the FA Trophy with a
less than convincing display, yet produced three goals to ease past Bedworth
today. MORE --------------------------------------------------------------------- If anybody would like to help with the
